K2 produced a surprise cooking show with Paula Deen for Walmart. Paula was soooo much fun to work with. The best part of the shoot was eating her delicious coconut cake!

ESPN/Nationwide NASCAR National Commercial
Another successful & fun shoot with Concept Farm. We produced a 30 sec commercial for ESPN/Nationwide. The spot was filmed in slow motion using an ALEXA, Steadicam, and a lot of confetti, champagne, & money. The talent was perfect and the drivers had a blast, which shows in the spot.

NatureTroopers
K2 is currently producing "Nature Troopers" an exciting new children's TV show. The troopers explore amazing animals with Trooper Travis, save the world through Research and Rescue with Rosemary and Stay Fit with Trainer Tim
This educational program encourages young Nature Troopers to lead a healthy life full of knowledge and respect for nature, while empowering them to make a hands-on change to the world locally and globally. Nature Troopers links children to many other learning resources focused on the three core elements of the show:
• Animal Exploration
• Nature Conservation
• Health and Fitness
The "Nature Troopers" pilot is currently being shopped at National Geography Kids and PBS. There has been a lot of positive feedback from networks, sponsors, and academic partners. K2 is extremely proud of their production and are looking forward to future programming.

K2Productions' original documentary series, American DJ, gives viewers a behind the scenes look into the wild and unexplored world of the American DJ through the daily observation of K2DJ, a family owned disc jockey company based in Greensboro, NC. Cameras travel with the four Eller brothers as they balance their southern suburbia lifestyle with the unusual demands of the DJ business, while trying not to kill each other in the process. The contrasting personalities and attitudes of the brothers create heated but hysterical arguments as they deal with high strung brides-to-be, unruly frat boys, delusional Karaoke singers, big budget event marketing, a snotty sweet sixteen, bar fights, sadistic strippers, over caffeinated kids, inebriated Elvis impersonators, Bar Mitzvahs, Spring Break, and Las Vegas conventions. American DJ depicts the real-life daily tension, eruptions, accomplishments, and compassion the family experience as they live and work together in their extraordinary occupation.
“American DJ” has currently been optioned by Emmy Award winning Producer Gay Rosenthal who has produced such reality hits as “Little People, Big World”, VH1s “Behind the Music”, “Star Search”, “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” she also produced the final episodes of “Friends” and “Frasier”.

Airline In-Flight Entertainment Programming Award For K2 & 223 Post
Pace Communications recently partnered with K2Producitons and 223Post awarding them all program editing of in-flight entertainment for Delta, Virgin, & Northwest Airlines. This major achievement for K2 & 223 has put them at the forefront of their industry. The enormous undertaking was overwhelming at the beginning, but now almost a year into it the workflow is flawless and the experience is priceless. K2Productions recently signed on as an official sponsor of the annual Cackalacky Film Festival. Over 50 films will be shown at a variety of venues in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. Full features, shorts, documentaries, and student films from all over the world will be featured during this 5 day event along with sessions with filmmakers, directors, and actors who make these films possible. In addition, the festival along with K2Productions will host an opening night gala on October 17th at the Dale F. Halton Theatre and its Awards Night will be held at the Atrium at the Design Center in Southend. The festival's goal is to raise the awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the art of cinema with a mandate to present outstanding films from all over the world.
